Name: Sheila Kaufman Date: June 26th, 1933 - April 28th, 2011 Obituary: Sheila Kaufman (nee Edelstein) Age 77, of St. Paul, died
April 28, 2011, of complications from Alzheimer’s disease. Sheila was born
and raised in Superior, Wisconsin. She was a graduate of Medill School of
Journalism at Northwestern University and worked in public relations,
retiring from Northwestern National Life Insurance Company. Sheila was
preceded in death by her parents, Abe Edelstein and Lillian Edelstein
Greenblatt. She is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, Stuart
Kaufman; children, Andrea Kaufman (Jim Jacobson), Raleigh Sawyer (Jay
Sawyer), and Hal Kaufman (Julie Berman); grandchildren, Libby Jacobson, Ethan
and Jeremy Sawyer, and Leo and Nate Kaufman; and brother, Steve Edelstein. We
will always cherish Sheila’s beautiful smile, warm heart and strong spirit.
Funeral services FRIDAY 3 PM, at TEMPLE OF AARON SYNAGOGUE, 616 S.
Mississippi River Blvd., St. Paul. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions
are preferred to Mayo Clinic Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center, Department
